They see our global community as one vast market to be explored. They might view themselves as independent actors, without specific institutions to call upon, or relying too heavily on the government to solve their problems.On the other hand, some students see that the goals of voluntarism are to help people achieve their individual goals, create a larger community, improve the efficiency of society, or to satisfy some kind of deep sense of altruism.
